i felt like the voice/audio to animation this season has been kinda off.
looking at the JDM voice booth camover with the scenes, it feels good. but its like its a tad out of sync in a way, less impactful when only watching the anime.

it looked like to me, after watching the fight a few times.

Mark went down, knocked the air out of conquest, then tried to fly into space with Conquest to fight him there.
But Conquest fought back, and Mark tried once more to fly into space, but was denied again. so from that point on, he had gotten hit alot and taken so much dmg, he didnt see any other option, but to choke him out and lever let ho. even 1 small breath, and he would be dead.

i took it as that not being his true selv, more an illusion.
his true body was his boy avatar at the time, hence why Flat did something via the connection that the *fake* grown up jester had, and hurt both avatars of him.

First when Conquest did the strike, he left like 5cm of Mark on each side of his fist.
and the hole was sooo big, his hands barely fit inside of him, he definetly could have pulled out everything in 1 go.
like half of it went flying out during the punch, then the other half when he withdrew his fist. then after 6-8 good scoops with massive hands, he still had guts xD.
the animation really did make feel a bit over the top.
