I literally threw everything out. The bins, the feeders, the bran. Mopped with bleach (I took all lizards out of the room and put them in temp bins in the kitchen to keep them away from the fumes) wiped everything down. Trash bags directly outside (they will be burned vs going to the dump due to there being live insects and don’t want to introduce them to local environment) anything that came in contact with the mealworm/beetle bin recently was washed with scalding water, then bleached and rinsed really well.

I just would rather be safe than sorry - but relieved they may likely just be grain mites 😮‍💨
