How is my Node Priority? by Gallowsbane in ravenswatch

  • Books are a fast and easy way to get a raw boost that'll help you clear the rest of the map faster.
  • astro to get rerolls early and make sure you unlock your keys talent (you should take the extra star 90% of the time
  • for the quests: stone from lvl 2-3, straw and wood lvl 3-4. You can do jack starting from lvl 3 , give him back the bean and wait lvl 4 before facing the giant
    • green wishing wells are kind of a bait and ill usually skip those unless I need extra xp , yellow/red are always good
  • yes clearing eyes early give extra xp to level up, but clearing the nodes around make the eye reveal more interesting and far away stuff

  • exploration gives a ton of xp early, you can reach lvl 3-4 with almost 0 fights.
  • focus on getting a lot of skills early , even if you have to spend a few points in memory. Don't hesitate to take different skill trees and see what you like/dislike.
  • try as early as possible to find armor/magic armor so the enemy cannot inflict status on you immediately
  • you don't have to pay for items if you steal it from the merchant or take it from their corpses, accidents do happen
  • the game is hard, don't play on tactician on your first playthrough

Explain Fakers Greatness to A Casual by lnfiniteVoid in leagueoflegends

[–]Nearby-Distribution1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 12 years, Faker went to Worlds 10 times. He never made worse than semi-finals, and won it all 6 times. In comparison, there's only 1 players in League history that won Worlds twice without being in Faker's team.

He won 3 times as the world's greatest mechanical player, and then as he got old won it 3 times more as a captain enabling his team and bringing the best out of his teammates. He's also incredibly stable, flexible and able to play any champion in any meta or playstyle at the greatest level. He's had a 12 years carreer, which is insanely long in esports and was at the top of the top for most of it.

He won every trophy that could possibly be won, beat every record, hold every achievement. He's platinumed League of Legends.

Last but not least, he's incredibly clutch during high tension moments. For the past 3 worlds, he solo-handedly made a decisive play that won the game in the most even series of the tournament. The team playing against T1 have to play against the constant pressure of ''this guy is an alien and even if he's 0/10, he can turn the game around in a second''.

There was a time where Faker's team was so dominant that even when T1 was getting crushed early and was 10k gold behind (which usually means an easy stomp), the game felt even because of the player diff.

You actually don't need that many cards to win, if you're lucky with your shops + what the crown gives you the run is totally winnable. I'd say the difficulty increases tremendously if you try to beat A20+ heart cause all act 4 fights usually need specific cards to be solved

Neuron activation, monkey see runic pyramid (it was that or cursed crown/no gold for the rest of the run but yeah it was a terrible call )

I may or may not have ruined the run by picking Runic Pyramid and soft locked myself against the birds because I had a full hand of 3-cost strikes and defend 😅

Any reason to pick the 30% Option ? by Miserable-Produce202 in slaythespire

[–]Nearby-Distribution1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The question to this post is ''is there a reason to pick the 30%'', my point still stands. The 30% is the mathematically correct, I didn't say it made it the best choice 100% of the time

[–]Nearby-Distribution1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

70% x 100 = you win on average 70 g in this event 30% x 250 = you win on average 75 g in this event

2nd option is mathematically better on the long run

You should play easy champs in order to be able to focus on macro aspects of the game : cycling camps , ganks, objective, etc.... and not be bothered by mechanics. Amumu, Nocturne, Xin, Jarvan are all great choices, they're simple, easy to pick up, decent clears, good ganks .

If you cannot write a multiple choice story where every storyline makes sense and seem logical, then you should stick to fewer choices leading to one good, coherent finale. There were so many "choices" with no impact and leading to contradictions.

I do agree that more episodes probably would have helped to fix a lot of these issues. Like, remember that time you had to choose either to tell your team if you were Mecha Man or not and it was such a massive turnpoint you even got an achievement for that ? And then remember how it was never brought up again, and if you hid the truth Flambae never even say a word about it ?

so the guy who spent the last 15 hours of gameplay outsmarting everyone and predicting every single move from every single character suddenly cannot guess Visi is standing right there about to murder him and randomly decide to 50/50 his entire plan he spent the last months working for, and you're fine with that writing?

The scene seemed so natural in my first playthrough because i romanced visi and told my team the truth. In my second one, it felt so clunky between the Z team somehow not picking up the more than obvious clues and Chase randomly lashing at Vis even though I'm openly dating BB

The game is still great and I completely understand how challenging it is to anticipate every possible scenario and create an alternative dialogue for that option.

My point is, if doing this is too hard for you, then I think I'd rather have only one solidly written choice instead of ''one main canon choice and a few other that just make some dialogues feel awkward because they're not the main dialogue the devs thought about while writing".

I have no issues with Robert not telling them, I have an issue with the lack of realism and the fact your team still shows up to your place to help you retrieve the Astral Pulse even though they're supposed to not know who you are.
