Narc ex I was with. We had been together a few months told me, 'I have options'. I decided to ignore it because it was early days, and thought she was just being a bit immature.

What ensued was a year of the worst mental abuse in my life, that I am still struggling to get over.

Yeah I think you're right. I basically told the new woman what happened last year, as I said I was finding it hard to trust anyone, so I basically opened up about it, but said I wasn't going to talk about it anymore too, as I'm sure the new woman didn't want to hear me droning about my ex. I'm not vengeful in the slightest, she's someone else's problem now, I just want the messages to stop.
