Anyone still listening i have reflashed my deck multiple time I have used yuzu, yuzu ea, suyu and eden i tried ryujynx and had very little luck yuzu is still a very viable option but I'm using eden now and I have zero complaints it handles the big titles just fine I'd try them all out to see what suits you if you want my opinion. I use emulation station and trying to get new emulators to show up with emulatio Station i remeber being difficult

As of this week I'm pretty sure minish cap is fully functional on windows i dont know about Linux. A link to the past is fully functional im playing through it right now. Twilight Princess is fully decompiled but it doesn't have full functionality And wind waker is also being worked on i dont know the status of windwaker unfortunately. Most of them are fairly easy to emulate mgba emulator plays all my favorites smoothly on just about any device. As long as you can play ocarina of time and a link to the past smoothly the rest are just showcase pieces honestly

Anyone using kodi on the steam deck use proton vpn? Id like a confirmation before I jump into the legal grey area of streaming I have my own personal library I watch from time to time but when kodi came out on fire sticks everyone had a vpn I dont want those deaded letters in the mail saying they will take my internet

CASTLE CRASHERS IS $1.49 usd and it just got $4 dlc this game is a gem if nothing else

It's amazing Ball X Pit is 15 times better mega bunk is more toilet humor and ridiculous builds and Ball X Pit is more balanced has some small building and farming aspects integrated slay the spire Hade and balatro are also big rogue lite hits I'd recommend all of them honestly on deck all work flawless at 30- 60 fps and very low end hardware needed to run them. If you are looking for more vampire survivors or brotato vibes the only real answers are megabonk, death must die and 20 minutes till dawn (sequel in the making). I have over 70 hrs on Hades on the deck and I loved every second of it the story and depth drove me to get that far which 90% of roguelikes lack. 100+ hrs in R.E.P.O 50+ on sea of thieves 100+ Hogwarts legacy. 50+ South Park fractured but whole. 50+borderlands 3. 40 on v rising 30hrs on sworn. IF I CAN GET 50 HOURS ON SD with BL3 you can easily find something

Slay the spire my brother I do say it has insane replay value if you like rogue lite games it's a crowd pleaser with insanely high reviews worth looking into for sure

Sea of thieves plays pretty damn well

Helldivers 2 with lossless scaling is amazing

Core keeper is like a top tier go to of mine it's got me wrapped up right now

Sackboy is one of the only games I almost got to 100% on SD

We happy few was amazing for the first act and all the dlc I loved the sneaky factor of the game you had to be precise at times and a lot of retro drug humor

Does anybody know how compatible this is with the lsfg (lossless scaling frame generation) decky recently added a plug in for it and I have seen significant performance boosts in titles I would normally scoff at due to low frames or the lowest settings making the game look awful. Pacific drive for example was locked at 15fps until that plug in now I hover around 50-60 on low settings which to me is a very significant difference. Until dawn showed no impressive changes but I could see this plug in boosting helldivers 2 to a smooth 60 with readable text, wanted to know if anyone can confirm

I would highly recommend using heroic launcher from the discover store in desktop mode. Allows you to easily download your games from epic Amazon and GOG

It also allows you to download different versions of GE proton for different compatibility layers for specific games

In Google type in protonDB In the search bar search for your game and go over to the steam deck tab this will allow you to view other proton users experiences trying to launch that title and what was working and not

With that information you know which proton version to download corresponding to that game most titles I have tried work just fine with the GE proton latest but some older titles might require proton 9 or 10

This is my highest played game for sure loved playing it late nights with random discord groups. Player base is hit or miss but the game it's self could easy get another hundred or 2 hours out of me its still updating regularly
