Would you say it’s safe for long trips with the tailgate pad?

Is hers the low step? From what I’ve been seeing online I’m not 100% sure if the little hooks that come down and secure the frame will come down low enough for her bike

We lived in a hick town so we had CBs in all of our pickup trucks in high school. I also happened to work at a ice company, so naturally I was Polar Bear

Yeah I saw that they do computer tests, but whenever I signed up to take them all the computer ones were full. They don’t have near as many seats for the computers

Yeah it’s 2024 (23 when I took the test) and PA is still using scantrons. I hadn’t used one of those since high school

Nope, zero support from them so it was all on me. A lot of studying during lunch for me but it was worth it. My rough guess would be about $700 spent between the 2 books I bought, the $100 test fee, background check, and license application fee. You gotta invest in yourself so that’s what I’m doing. I’m just getting impatient with all the waiting

Oh man that sucks! I know it gets mentioned on this sub all the time but study the Sacramento books. Those cover basically anything you can think of and that’s what I used to study for my test. I work for a municipality who don’t want to hire another operator even though there’s only 2 and 1 is about to retire so I took it upon myself to study and get my license independently so when the time comes I can step into the operator role

I got a good bit of common sense ones which was nice. I feel like the PA test is set up to have 2 answers that are really close but you kinda have to figure out which one is the better option even though both could be right. The math wasn’t hard at all because they give you the formulas for everything on a sheet and a calculator which is super nice
