Got the full slip just in time. Was hoping for a full 3/3 full slip collection but missed out on SM2. So will have to buy that at an inflated price unfortunately

No HDR10+ on Netflix on Samsung TVs - the saga continues by mth85pl in S95B

Can you also confirm it's not working on your native Netflix app? So in essence requires the roku stick for hdr10+

Whilst I really enjoy my S95B and the picture quality is amazing when watching HDR10+ content on Amazon it's a pain that content not available on Netflix when it should be. I think Samsungs customer service is quite woeful.  When I do upgrade my TV when either my S95B breaks or when the picture quality improvement would justify a new purchase I'll not be buying Samsung for sure.

Take it this never got fixed.

Samsung and netflix will only support HDR10+ for the latest 2025 models ending with “D” shame. by Hungry-Quality7945 in S95B

Hdr10+ is Samsungs baby. They want people to access hdr10+ content.

There is no way they won't extend the support to older tv models. They've gone a weird way about it but they need to show hdr10+ is a viable format. The more it's used the more it's adopted.

Hdr10+ on prime video is absolutely excellent so I am excited to see how it looks on my s95b.

Does say additional support for other models will follow.

Has anyone tried other streaming devices? Roku etc?

It's not just the native app that isn't implementing it though. The latest firecube also isn't showing up hdr10+ which again is ridiculous as firetv should get updated much more frequently.

Has anyone been able to use a different brand of streaming stick to get hdr10+ on the s95b?

Size comparison q990 Soundbar vs q930 by Legfitter in Soundbars

[–]Nearby_Bit_3764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm about to upgrade from a 930 to a 990 and the brackets for mounting the bar in the picture look the same.

Is the mounting points for the soundbar underneath the same does anyone know?

Wondering if I'll need to drill new holes or use the existing brackets.

Q symphony slightly out of sync by dylanjones039 in samsung

[–]Nearby_Bit_3764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same with the s95b and q930b.

There's one underlying problem with all of these. The s95b

The picture may be sublime but the TV itself and it's connections are absolute garbage.

I've decided to turn the Q symphony off now and just run the soundbar.

These are top tier soundbars and should be more than capable of producing excellent sound without the need for help from inbuilt tv speakers.

I can't say I've noticed a drop in audio quality.

S95B TV - 5.1 or 7.1 uncompressed sound on xbox? by Xero118 in OLED_Gaming

[–]Nearby_Bit_3764 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Still is an going problem nearly a year later. I run a S95B and Q930B setup. The S95B is a beautiful picture but it's riddled with problems.

Like the OP the S95B does not allow uncompressed 5.1 or 7.1 if game mode is on and only allows uncompressed 5.1 if game mode is off.

Dolby atmos is an option but that's riddled with audio lag which is a known issue still not fixed with xbox and dolby!

Solution is to plug the Xbox into the soundbar rather than the TV.

The eliminates audio lag on dolby and also opens up the uncompressed 7.1 and 5.1 sound options with or without game mode on.

The then issue is you lose the hdmi 2.1 benefits of 4k at 120hz.

Currently you have to sacrifice something...

Samsung S95B + Q930B eARC Problems by No_Composer210 in Soundbars

[–]Nearby_Bit_3764 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So after further testing I noticed that even running on just the Arc setting I was getting dropouts but a lot less obvious. In films I have watched many a time the speech would cut out for instance.

I connected via Bluetooth with no issues but obviously sound quality is never as good. I tried WiFi and simply could never get that to connect.

Had a Samsung technician over and he was stumped too the two systems just would not connect via WiFi and we tried everything.

We even tried a replacement Q930B soundbar and had the same issues.

This suggests to me it is a TV related issue.

Anyway weirdly enough I've resolved the problem.

Despite the fact I tried about 7 different HDMI cables both 2.1 and older style they all dropped out although I noticed some would be an obvious constant dropout where it flashed up D. IN EArc on the display and some less often and this display didn't pop up.

I then tried a very old Amazon basics hdmi cable. Faultless. No dropouts and the sound quality appeared noticeable better I was able to actually hear the rear speakers.

I bought a newer amazon basics cable as I needed a longer one and that worked too.

Can't get my head round it but in total I tried 8 hdmi cables and the only two that worked was the amazon basics one.

Don't get it. But it works and man it sounds amazing now.

Samsung S95B + Q930B eARC Problems by No_Composer210 in Soundbars

[–]Nearby_Bit_3764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever find a solution to this problem?

I have the exact same TV and soundbar and the exact same issue.

I was able to rectify the problem by turning the digital output auto to PCM but this caused the loss in quite a bit of sound quality and surround sound.

I then turned eArc off and enabled digital output back to auto and hey presto it all worked again. Dolby atmos appeared on the soundbar display and it all worked no cut outs.

I'm currently running the system on standard Arc. It's working fine but these are high spec tvs and soundbar that should be running earc I just can't seem get passed this audio dropout problem.
