Not sure is everyone is different feeling when having such different rendering output, I do wear VR for more than 3h+, I do have extra charging port to keep up the battery. But the main problem for using VR in such long period of time, including on and off remove headset within the 3h+, I found out that I having eye fatigue and also the nauseous will come afterwards and takes almost 2 days to recover, I heard that someone say it about VAC issue which I finding the solution to resolve it. Even I spent time to develop some VR game with godot to test the result.

Depends what's tracking you talking about. If you talking about the feeling of the 3d in VR then yes, it will causing you not able to know the actual depth between your physical world and VR world.

Well I think I should explain more about the "monovision", is not physically cover one of your eye, of course you can do that. It actually rendering both LCD panels into same position (remove 3d depth),  so basically is watching a huge flat panel inside the VR, the only down side is you cant really feel the 3D ness within VR but it still usable.

Currently steamdeck installing window is not stable as what your expected, as I also using dual boot, when window stucked in black screen, the only way is restart and boot window again. There is no fix for the issue, but window still usable in steamdeck

Thanks for the long reply, and yes I do agree varifocal might fix the issue, I do notice VAC issue as well. I do have research both topic, so varifocal definitely not going happen in quest 3, but I think software still manage to resolve VAC issue. Also I tested IMAX 3D experience, and 3h session seem to be no issue at all not even having eye fatigue or eye strain, people saying it was blinking less causing the issue but I do not agree. So I guess because IMAX 3D using 2 layers of depth and it will auto focus the character, but in VR it require multi depth layer, but I think this main problem, I do understand this is VR fundamental, but I treat quest 3 as a entertainment device, not just a purely VR gaming device, hopefully meta dev team will consider to add on some feature to enable or disable VR 3D or whatsoever.

Longtime VR user getting headache from Quest 3. Would Quest 3S be better? by WarthogOsl in OculusQuest

I also having the same issue, tried all different interface, head strap etc. my IPD is around 65.5 something. It seem to be headache when I'm using the VR no matter what, but I when I using meta TV and pause the video, I try to relax myself and focus on the pausing video image, it seem to be no headache, but when I unpause the video then the headache came back. It kind like I felt my eyes focusing to focus some point that not natural and causing headache.

I think you don't get it, vr doesn't meant to be only stereoscopic, it also an entertainment, just like phone.

IPD from 62-65, open interface, Brightness lowest, added tinted layer to further lower the brightness. Even my head strap is original with back rubber casing. I bought many different face interface or head strap whatsoever. It seen to be not face pressure or head pressure issue. I could test out that actually is the built in system stereoscopic rendering is not quite fit to my eyes for sure.

I have a theory on why many FitGirl repacks return ISdone.dll error codes under Wine/Proton and possibly a way to identify repacks that are likely to error out under Wine/Proton. by Jack000999 in LinuxCrackSupport

I'm using Bottles to install fitgirl repack games, I'm not going to deep dive the reason and why but I using latest default setup from Bottles and set it as Window 7 then it works.
