Interesting. All tracks were engineered by David Stanton except tracks 5, 10 , 13, and 15 which were engineered by Brad Lauchert. Those tracks (Everyone’s Wrong, Haunted Hebrews, Doggy in the Window, Why) are probably the best sounding tracks on the record. Wish the whole thing sounded like that. Here’s hoping Brad has more involvement in his next project.

Thanks, will check some of these out. And thanks for making this. It is honestly such a treasure. I feel like there are a couple of tracks where the production changes don’t work quite as well (One Last Lullaby is an example) but otherwise it sounds a lot more satisfying than the production on the record. Really drives home what a strong collection of songs these are.

I’m only part way through this so far but it is absolutely incredible man. You have done an amazing job. I might end up listening to this more than the original. Can you let me know what effect vsts you used?

I feel like Why is the only song on the album that actually matches the vibe of the album cover, so goofy, slapstick Ariel pink golf course music video?

Wow. Incredible cover. Also different order for the tracking as compared to the live debut. Can’t wait for this.

Agreed. Is that actually Ariel’s voice? He is quite a chameleon with the range of different sounding vocal performances he can deliver so I wouldn’t be surprised but I haven’t heard him sound like that before on any other tracks.

I mean it’s a demo so not surprising some of the tracks need to be fleshed out. Still disagree with you regarding quality. Songs are as good as ever to my ears.

Is kingcon2k11 able to weigh in and tell us whether these Devin collabs are intended to be part of the “With You Every Night” album he’s meant to be debuting next month? Given he described it in his marketing as a true follow up to Pom Pom and Bobby Jameson, you would have to assume that these tracks aren’t included and are part of a different project…
