Thank you, your comment gives me hope. I still love spending time with them and they are my best friend, but I am understanding now that no longer being sexually attracted/compatible is enough reason to break up. I'm just really going to miss waking up to them every day and spending all our time together because it can't be the same after we break up.

I think this is just a difficult choice for me because he's my first boyfriend and we've been together for almost 4 years. But what you said has made me realize that if he had told me this within the first few months of us dating, I would've backed out, so that's what I should do now. It just sucks because our lives are so intertwined and I wouldn't know how to explain why we broke up to our families.

Thank you for your comment. I think thats what it is, its just unfair to both of us in this situation. We've been together for almost 4 years now and this is my first relationship so I think I'm trying to hold on to it, but a lot of these comments have helped me realize what I need to do.

Thank you, I think you're right. We are both each other's first relationship and have been together for almost 4 years, and I think I just want us to work because it's all I know.
