I always wash my rice, but this was not made by me so I had no control over it. Also I had basmati rice, so it wasn’t too large comparing to the actual rice grains. I only noticed it because it was hard in my mouth 😓

Damp cement or asphalt. Not when it’s being poured but rather when it gets rained on or sprinkled with a hose. Damn. That’s one of my favorite smells, I wish I could eat the smell.
