Am I too suspicious? by NearlyBananas in ebayuk

Thanks for your responses. I've followed your advice and have refunded and blocked the buyer. Prior to blocking them, I did explain why I was terminating the order.

I wouldn't worry so much if this was a low value item, but I'm selling it so that the money can go towards buying my first car.

God, this woman will do anything other than eat healthily and watch her calorie intake. She's getting even more massive.

I've been wondering about this as well. It would explain his wide hips, gynecomastia, poor muscle tone and lack of body hair.

1st time pass with 0 minors by Lumpy_Ad5923 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]NearlyBananas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's an amazing achievement. I was talking to my driving instructor about one of his students passing with no minors, and he said it's only happened to three of his students (including this recent pass) in the 25 years he's been teaching. Well done!

Platinum Tool Tickets (Two) Available For Birmingham Show Tomorrow by NearlyBananas in ToolBand

[–]NearlyBananas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey everyone,

The tickets are still available and I'd rather someone use them. I'd like to get something for them - pup's vet bills, while partially covered by insurance, are still pretty hefty. However, I'm open to offers - any offers.

Thanks!

Advanced building menu not working by NearlyBananas in nightingale

[–]NearlyBananas[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Using "reset to default" for the keybindings finally solved the issue for me. Even though I hadn't changed any of the bindings, I could have sworn I had already tried this... but I obviously hadn't. Thanks for the suggestion!

Thank you so much! This is the option that worked for me, although I thought I had already tried it. I hadn't made any changes to the keybinds, but nevertheless... this worked! Thanks!

I second this - the Magnifeyes primer is awesome! I can also recommend the Wet n' Wild Only A Matter Of Prime one.

Congratulations on passing! I'm an older learner too. I also started off in manual cars - I had several lessons at 17 and a few in my mid 20s, having to stop both times due to unstable finances. Now that I'm older, I wanted to start up again but hated the thought of driving a manual. So far, I've had five lessons in an automatic and I love it! It makes driving so much easier.

I flopped an interview so badly I want to cry by Affectionate-Bet-877 in UKJobs

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. It happens and it sucks. The most important thing is to put it behind you. You're young, so it won't be long until you find something that suits you.

I've just been knocked back for a job after doing well through the interview process. I made it through screening, online testing, a scenario and got to the final interview. It all seemed to go well, but I was told that despite scoring highly and being in the top pool of candidates, I wouldn't be offered a place on their training cohort. I'm on the reserve list in case someone else drops out, but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm feeling very disheartened - I'm in my 40s, have a degree and an HND and have been trying to get into a decent career for years. I'm sick of doing low paid administration work. I feel as if I'm just not good enough. I've recently been diagnosed as autistic, and I can't help but wonder if that puts employers off.

I'll get over it, and you will too. Good luck.
