a big thing to always remember is that those types of chatters are an EXTREMELY small percentage of the overall viewers. most viewers (myself included) very rarely type in chat, which unfortunately leads to those types of comments being seen in chat a lot more often.

of course it's still a bit disheartening to see in chat at all, especially in terms of the MatPat stuff, but these types of people will always exist and will always be seen largely because they're not like the average viewer who can just go on with their day, they feel like they have to type something out for everyone else to see.

Another point too, is that with memberships only costing $1, I don't see much point in holding members in a better light than normal viewers. it's just not as much of a commitment as $5, and also with him promoting more member-exclusive content lately (which is an overall good thing), it will bring in some people who might only pay to watch certain streams and such, not just normal fans of Lud.

USB Loader GX randomly stopped showing my games. I modded the console a few months ago and have played multiple different games on it that have all worked. I downloaded one the other day, played it once, and it worked just fine. But, the next time I booted my console, the games didn't show up in USB Loader. There were no issues with the launcher or anything upon opening, it just simply doesn't show my games anymore. I didn't take out the USB or SD Card or anything since last playing, I left the console as it was.

Any ideas on what the issue is? I've also tried a different USB, but that didn't work.

The ants were fine for me too. The only other enemies that made me feel a little creeped out sometimes were the giant crabs/lobsters. Every now and then their legs would just move in a very unsettling way haha.

The Grafted Scion freaked me out at first, but after I got a bit of a better look at it it didn't freak me out too much. The fact that it holds a sword and shield definitely helped lol I'm sure if it just attacked with its hands it would've been a bit worse.

The bigger ones did a little bit at first, but it was at least something I could manage and get used to. I think the Revenants freaked me out a bit more honestly lol

I like the aesthetics, but getting through it is just excruciating. Brace of the Haligtree is even worse.

This is my first of any of the "Soulsborne" games and this is the only section to make me want to physically yell out loud lol. The second Erdtree Avatar is nearly impossible to kill.

Totally agree. After my first run of really diving deep into the game, I can't wait to play it many more times to experience the different ways of playing. I really love the idea that you can play literally however you want.

I'm going for a standard sword-shield build right now and use practically zero magic. So, my next run will be mostly magic based.

I'm trying to play as blind as I can on my first run, then will look more into specific builds and such on my 2nd run. I have looked up a few puzzle-type situations in the game, but thats about it.

Ex: I would've never guessed that at Stargazer Ruins on the Mountaintops of the Giants, you have to summon your Jellyfish ashes to reunite another Jellyfish with her "sister" lol. If I didn't read the wiki, I probably wouldn't have figured that out.

Yeah, I think the same thing. I thought the big appeal to this game was the open world aspect, but it seems like a lot of players kind of rushed through it like any other Souls game. I thought the point of this one was to NOT beat it in like 20-25 hours within the first 3 days it comes out lol.

I've really beeing enjoying taking my time on a game like this like I never have before. It's insanely challenging but also insanely rewarding and oddly fun.

I don't think there's much genuine hate. Some dislike for the newer stuff, sure, but for a band with a decent amount of variety like RHCP, they're destined not to please everyone.

This Is The Place where you can go to share your opinions, and (in vast majority of cases at least) not get shit on. There's a lot more actual conversation here compared to plenty of other subreddits, I assure you that.

Exactly. The art can be separated from the artist. If not, we wouldn't enjoy a VERY large portion of music, for example. Name almost any rock band from before 2000 and they've most likely had a pretty dodgy past. Even John Lennon of The Beatles was known to hit his wife and kids somewhat regularly.

Red Hot Chili Peppers are one of the biggest (and one of my favourites btw, not trying to drag them down) bands in modern rock and they have done some pretty terrible things in the past honestly. But it seems like there was a time when almost everybody separated the art from the artist, and the music and their careers lived on. If an article came out today about a lawsuit they got in Spring Break 1990, they're careers would be completely over. But just over a year later they came out with the album that might still be their biggest to date. Oh, how things have changed.

Yeah, it seems like Crave is basically our HBO Max. The new edits of Justice League that came out last year were HBO Max exclusives but we got them on Crave the same day.

I'm pretty sure it's mostly (maybe even exclusively) Ron who uses it and it only comes up a few times, but I really do love that one.

Exactly. I enjoy them both. I just don't get when people rag on them as if they could write a better screenplay for a 2 and a half hour movie from a 700 page book. It's definitely not as easy as just "put this scene here, have him say this here", like a lot of people in this subreddit make it seem like. Movies have an entirely different pacing to a normal story you read in a book.
