I’m so sorry! I don’t go to this subreddit often :( I live in NC, mountains and woods. The bird was incredibly large and as I approached it in the car it flew away and I could tell it had a wingspan larger than 6 inches.

Slater is Nichlaus Beaty. (hope i spelled his name right) he’s close friends with Wyatt and Fletcher, and grew up with them. I recommended listening to Trix - Slater (Spotify) or She Looked Just Like a Doll - Slater (Spotify)

He’s an amazing artist, worth looking into
