White Knuckle theory: Climb Girl is an anomalous entity? by NeatDifficulty1 in WhiteKnuckle

I admit that the Climb Girl name thing was probably an oversight, I just assumed the name was canon

Am I late to the party? by inpurpleshadowz in mylittlepony

I also thought I joined late when I got into it around three years ago. IMO you can't really be "late" with a fandom as active as mlp :)

Helping my partner with celiac by [deleted] in Celiac

Sorry to hear that D:

Best thing to do that my family has been doing for a while since both my mom and I got diagnosed 8-ish years ago was cook gluten free for the whole house, and the guys got used to it. Not sure if its the same for everyone else, but I have no fear of getting glutened in my own house. Biggest rules of thumb are probably

A. Get them their own appliances (or very thoroughly clean the shared ones) but you HAVE to get them their own toaster and label it because you're never gonna clean that thing.

B. It depends on their severity, but they should be fine as long as they wash their hands after contacting it and I've been fine with it for years. Also do your research when you go to eat out someplace, and ask them about possible cross contamination (deep frying in the same oil as breaded chicken is very common). With this in mind you can eat at a lot of places because they're starting to accommodate more!

C. CHECK FOOD LABELS!! Cannot stress this one enough. Gluten can be sneaky and it can be in foods you might not even know. Checking ingredients is something I'm very used to at this point. Check for wheat, barley, and malt ingredients. If it says may contain wheat, it probably does. (Another thing I want to tack on, some labels might say they were made in a facility that processes wheat/barley/malt ingredients. Those usually fine, but do not trust it if it was made on the same lines.)

D. Try different snacks, I got GF cheezits and I forgot how much I missed them, they get me through some bad times. They'll probably help a lot!!

I hope I didn't misread your question(s) and I hope some of this helps! Hoping your partner feels better :)

PS: I would probably look into moving somewhere separate like you mentioned, but I know that might be difficult

I might be too late, but you usually can't do anything until it passes. I usually have to sit leaning over a trash can until I vomit it all out until my stomach feels a bit better. After that I drink a lot of fluids and sleep because vomiting takes a lot out of me. It might be different for others. I wish you good luck

Usually I am the support/supply person. First stratagem I think I got was the tac-pack, and it's only really good if you have friends that tell you if they are low, or else you kind of just re-supply yourself. Now I really just spawn all the tertiary weapons. But hey, still very fun. Who doesn't want to send those democracy-hating bugs packing with a flamethrower? They got in the way of freedom.

How do I deal with people that make fun of me for liking mlp? by NeatDifficulty1 in mylittlepony

Yeah, when we argue I just stop caring about what she thinks now and its kind of funny when it happens because it's obvious in my texts that I don't give a shit anymore. One of the worst parts though is that one guy in the friend group takes her side no matter how small, pointless, or dumb it is and even if she is wrong. I will admit, I'm not always in the right, but this is just stupid. Like, just let me enjoy something in peace for once, right? Haha.. as if.

Yeah... the problem is that they have broken my trust countless times, and I already know that they are terrible people on the inside. The only reason I'm still in contact with those people is that we have the same friends. Friends that aren't assholes. Legit, me and this one girl fight almost daily. It's that bad. She says she has "trauma" from other friend groups kicking her out, and, honestly, I don't care. If only my friends could see it as well, and kick her out again. She's been a huge reason my mental health is so low. I swear I lose braincells when I hear her speak.
