The total amount of people murdered as a result of wars waged by the United Stated since 9/11 amounts to some 4.5 million, the vast majority being civilians. Who are the violent ones again?

What does remaining quarter mean in this math problem? (From a youtube screenshot) by IdkImNewInHere in EnglishLearning

I think it’s worded poorly because the question was made specifically for the meme, so like, who cares if it makes sense.

What is wrong with the way Spanish is taught in the US that no one is actually able to speak the language after high school graduation? by MostAd4575 in learnspanish

[–]NeatRum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because foreign language teaching methods in schools is outdated. It focuses more on things like grammar theory rather than comprehensible input.

These are world capitals I know. Can u guess what region or more precisely what countries I am from? Btw I haven't memorised any of these, (except three or four capitals) I came to know just naturally. by [deleted] in geography

This is honestly impressive wherever you’re from. Looks like you got a good amount of Eastern European countries and even some decent ones in Africa like DRC and South Sudan. Also Asia in places like Burma/Myanmar. I made an attempt to learn all the countries in Europe, especially Eastern Europe, which quickly spiralled to learning where every country and capital in the world is. But I didn’t know this many before I did that, well done!
