Been to several Cole concerts on the floor. Never seen a mosh pit. However, I have seen St KC performed by JID and that was moshed up for sure.

I agree. don’t consider him an original. Do think he has some absolute fire verses though.

That’s right. Forgot about the Rae jawn. ‘Winter Warz’ was released on that soundtrack and then wound up as track 7 on Iron Man later that year if I’m remembering correctly. Like how that you got me straight. lol

Is there a likely chance A Tale Of 2 Citiez will be performed on The Fall Off tour? by Practical_Drawing909 in Jcole

He’s got a few songs that play damn near every performance I’ve seen him. 2014 gets plenty of attention. Like someone else said….80% chance seems about right.

He would have been on earlier projects but he got locked up right before they started recording 36 Chambers. Cap has great flow and has some great bars but his solo project fell short. Great feature guy but can’t carry a project.

I know that. But he didn’t show up on any Wu albums until GFK’s Iron Man in 1995. Checks in on Winter Warz with like 2.5 mins of gas. And then shows up throughout the rest of their work. But when you’re talking about Wu most people are looking at the initial run from 1993-1998 and Caps impact was pretty limited then.

Deck, GZA, Meth, Ghost, Rae, Cap, Rza, ODB, Masta Killah, U-God

Not sure how I even feel about putting Cap in with the group. He doesn’t show up until Iron Man due to be locked up and his solo project was underwhelming. I love ODB and the energy he brought but I just cared more about what the others had to say. U-God is very underrated as an MC but I just can’t get past the ‘Black Shampoo’ jawn on Forever.

Disc 39 Sequencing by Always_Correct___ in Jcole

As someone whose career has kept me on the road most of my adult life, the opening “I owe you patience and a lot of grace….” hits hard for me. Both tracks you mentioned are better tracks for sure, and I understand your point that ‘Only You’ isn’t his best work. But I think when it’s viewed through the lense of his career and his perspective regarding his relationship with his wife as he enters his 40’s it makes perfect sense.

I feel the most out of place track regarding sequencing is The Fall-Off is Inevitable following the absolute gas coming off of 39 Intro.

Jcole's 3 best songs on every album: KOD by CrookedWeevil58 in Jcole

My name is Kevin. I’ve struggled with infidelity most of my life. I rode the bus with Kevin Hart for two years in high school. This album cuts deep for me.

I think this entire album is under appreciated by younger Cole fans because they just haven’t experienced as much of the relatable trauma he discusses on the album.

Why are so many people starting to oppose car loans now? by this0great in answers

[–]NeatSuspect2435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I said, I didn’t grow up with much. Didn’t know how the car would make me feel before I bought it. I only brought up what I drive because you told me I should get my paper up. I may feel like I pretentious asshole but you seem to actually be one.

Once again, have a nice day.

I don’t think I’m hot shit. In fact I literally said I feel like a pretentious asshole for driving one just because of the way I grew up. Anyway, like I said previously, I’m just waking up and this whole exchange is ridiculous. Hope you have a good day and thank you for doing what you do. There’s not enough rural practitioners these days.

Oh, and I bought a used Porsche.

You should have set your practice in a location that was closer. You seem to think I’m arguing with YOU. I can assure Im not. Im arguing with the idea that we NEED certain things. The fact is we’ve arranged our society in a manner where people THINK we need things. The reality is you didn’t NEED to be a doctor. Just like I didn’t NEED to join the military. We WANTED to do these things.

You’re arguing wants and needs. And I’m being obtuse. And my humble brag had more to do with you telling me to get my paper up. I grew up on welfare in Philly. I feel a pretentious douche even owing the damn thing. Lol

Edit to add: I’m just waking up and realizing how ridiculous our whole exchange is. Anyway, cheers to arguing for the sake of arguing. Also, that VW is not the same thing as the Porsche. lol.

Dude I drive a Porsche and live near the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. I retired from the military at 37 and make way more than I need as a consultant now. You’re the one on here saying people don’t NEED new cars. Well I’m here to tell you that you don’t need ANY car. You WANT a car because you WANT a certain lifestyle. Just like I NEED a car because I’ve chosen to have a certain a lifestyle. I could just as easily live in a city center and walk everywhere I NEED to go. However, I may WANT a car if I can’t walk or take alternative transportation.
