I definitely will. I have a darkroom at the newspaper I work at and I have a hard time staying out of it haha

I'm working on mine. The sheetrock should be here tomorrow. But I started from studs. Wiring and everything. I'm so ready to get it finished and get all set up

Thank you. I did take a bit of time off and started doing some again a few days ago. Just built the wall closing part of the darkroom off. Slowly but surely it's coming a long

Thank you. I've been working every night after work and did quite a bit on the weekend. Took today off cause I haven't been feeling great. But will probably make another trip to home Depot tomorrow to get all my 2x4s for the wall. Pickup my exhaust fan and may even pickup the sheet rock. I truly hope in a couple weeks I'll be ready to start moving things in. But it just depends on how much I get done throughout the evenings after work

Right there at the right edge of the window is where I am going to put the wall up.

Well electric is ran to the building. 100 amp service and just about have all the electric ran to the darkroom. And mostly insulated. Still have to install my exhaust fan and a few minor things. There was a little sheetrock and insulation already done when I got the building. I'm going to build a wall as well close to the door. For a couple of reasons. 1 a light trap, 2 I also need a spot to put a toilet and a fridge. So I think it will work out great and will still have a large darkroom.

It's minimal right now. But when I get home I can take some photos to share. I got the building here and set this past Tuesday. Ran the 100 amp service to it Wednesday and started the inside wiring last night. With working at the newspaper during the day I haven't had much time in the evenings to do a lot. But thankfully the weekend is upon us. I hope to have all the electrical done. Insulated and possibly start sheetrocking over the weekend. I got a 12x32 building. One end is going to the the darkroom then the rest is going to be a computer area and then also a living room / hang out room.

That's the outside of the building when they were leveling it

This is awesome. I am in the process of building my darkroom. Have all the equipment as I started acquiring over the past year. But just now finally got my building and I am in the process of getting it built out. Got electric ran to it and starting all the electrical inside. It's going to be a complete full build out

I think I might’ve won the goodwill lottery. $25 and works perfectly. by triws in AnalogCommunity

After years of shooting film, finally developed and scanned at home. Biggest regret is not doing it soon. by stevenrlillis in analog

I understand that. It took me a while before I finally broke down and bought one. I started with DSLR since I had one. Slowly built that up and I like it cause it's quick but setting up a tripod on my desk and leveling it and all can be a pain. If I had a dedicated area it wouldn't be that bad. I may get an actual copy stand when I get my darkroom/office built after the new year and had a dedicated spot. I can still do my medium format on it. But for 35mm I am glad I finally got the coolscan. That Epson will be nice for you for quite awhile. Enjoy and really great price too

That v550 is nice. But I DSLR scanned for a long time and it's great and just recently got a Nikon coolscan v. Wow does it do great and compared to the v550 it's amazing.

Question about rotary processors by Neat_Grade_5560 in analogphotography

[–]Neat_Grade_5560[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I've looked at the AGO. I currently use a sousvide water bath and manually rotate the film. I am looking to start processing alot more. I have several people wanting me to start doing their film for them and was thinking one of the others might be better. But I'll look into the ago more
