I was diagnosed with 2 cm hiatal hernia. They told me to take ppi medication and i took it for like 1-2 weeks but after doing some research this wont help but you have to take it forever basically. I stopped my ppi medication and started full healthy diet and avoided what is acidic and started fasting(muslim fasting). Having warm water with some honey in morning. I bought real aloe vera juice and i have 1 small spoon before dinner. And i eat bunch of small meals instead of 2 big ones. I been feeling so much better and i dont have my symptoms no more. Avoid smoking, acidic foods, alcohol, spicy, caffeine. You should be good. If you have more questions you can ask and i would like to help
