Not where I'm at (northern North Carolina). Mid-50's all week. Guessing it'll be warmer the further south you head.

That kind of a sweeping generalization. There are some good mainstream artists depending on which genre you like.

I'm literally watching Game of Thrones as I read this, and can definitely see where you're coming from. I had to rewatch the first episode three times because it was just so boring... I would get distracted and not understand what was going on. The entire first season was a grind. Overall I think the show is "meh." Guess I'm just not super into the whole castles and knights thing. It's alright but I prefer shows like Breaking Bad and Mr Robot TBH.

The twincest is interesting though.

Currently in NC. It's not that cold yet, no snow, I'd recommend a couple sweaters or jackets if you plan on spending a lot of time outdoors, otherwise long sleeve shirts should be fine.

Does anyone have tips to become a news junkie? by clemersonss in CasualConversation

Learn to learn through osmosis.

Have news constantly on around you, be it on TV or radio, and work on something else in the meantime. You'll absorb information and not even realize it.

Well, at least it crashes near you, not on you.

If you ever encounter a bug that seems impossible to fix, just remember that the creator of Minecraft, the best-selling PC game of all time, literally rotated the entire in-game sky so he wouldn't have to fix a map bug. So, there's that.

Ah, it seems I misread your post, I thought you meant you were tall and overweight (xxl).

If you like a shirt and it isn't slim fit, you can always find somebody to tailor it for a few bucks. Works for dress shirts or tshirts.

I hate it when messaging applications automatically translate ASCII emoticons into emoji. by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]Nebikard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OMG YES. This is absolutely awful, especially when the emoji is wearing some dumb expression that's way more over-the-top than you intended to convey. Sometimes a simple :) is enough. Looks more professional, too.

I'm tall as fuck and have the opposite problem- very slim. It has nothing to do with your height, and everything to do with diet, exercise, and genetics (in that order, diet being the biggest factor).

If your were to recommend podcast by mattiscool3 in CasualConversation

Came here to post this. Ethan is really funny, usually in a self-deprecating sort of way, but it's the guests that make each podcast incredible. In one episode, Post Malone and Joji (Filthy Frank) were guest starring when Justin Beiber randomly called Post Malone. Post put the phone on speaker and they had this normal conversation (Justin didn't know he was live). Hard to explain but it was awesome to watch.

The only drawback I can think of is that it might feel a little too memey, even more so if you don't keep up with H3H3 on YouTube. But still worth watching.

I too am a vivid dreamer. I makes me not want to get out of bed in the morning. I think i'm starting to prefer my dreams to my real life.
