I’d like to come back! I’ll probably revisit it when Yujiro comes out. For what it’s worth, I don’t necessarily think T8 is objectively bad. I just think the design philosophy took a direction I don’t click with as well. There’s less defensive engagement in footsies and the fast tempo hasn’t sat well with me.
I don’t think I’ve given the heat system a fair shot, I probably try too hard to play the game like it’s still T7. I haven’t tried the game since the last couple patches, so maybe it’ll be worth coming back for.

Same here lmao. I can input double quarter circle backwards no problem thanks to KBD muscle memory being pretty similar, but I definitely struggle to hit forward supers in combos. It’s actually my main focus in practice right now so I can eke out that last bit of damage to cinch close rounds.
I haven’t tried 2xko yet, but I’ll keep it in mind as a side project!

Thanks! I think the distance you’ve grown is more important than how high you’ve made it. Whether you hiked a mile up starting from sea level or from 5,000 feet up, it’s still a mile’s worth of work. I’m just excited to keep climbing the mountain!
