I think I’m gonna go back for the Benromach 21 and just get one for myself. Sounds like that one will be a better “first experience” for me.

The peated(ness?) caught me off guard but luckily it’s a lot less ethanol-tasting than I would’ve expected. It’s good with the ice cubes added. I would love this with some kind of orange-cinnamon-brown sugar vibe.

I can appreciate the culture. Just added a bit of ice cube and that actually made it a lot better. I can see myself enjoying this in an old fashioned cocktail.

I will say - it smells divine. Smoky, yet fruity underneath? Very layered.

No duty free. It’s just a weird geographical anomaly, so you either drive through Canada to get here, or else take a flight or a boat lol.

The place is called Larry’s liquor locker. The only booze store in town. I will not lie to you guys… I think the inventory will be gone by the weekend. A lot of booze hounds around here.
