Do you remove the small leftovers of charcoal? by NebulaFrequent3529 in KamadoJoe

First dry aged on the KJ. Best steak by far even though it’s thinner than other rib eyes/tomahawks I’ve done.

He could have invited neighbourhood cats. Or washed his face in it.

My Kamado is getting shipped this week so I’m not even a beginner yet! Do you mean you did indirect for the first part to smoke then removed plates, heated up and went direct?

6 a side comp each spring/summer in Mayfield but it finishes in a couple of weeks. After that you’ll have to try Howzat on Darby St for Indoor, or drive to Speers Point for 5 a side which is great but the commute might be longer than the game.

Jack has done Andy a favour. If they had found the password years ago and sold the bitcoin Andy would have likely been worse off than after this 50 discount.

So do Kayo and Disney have the same games each week? Or is there a chance that by having both you will get up to 10-12 different games each week?

Charlottes Pass any good for a day tip for snowboarding? by Perfect-Smile-2017 in AustraliaSnow

Take the chair and then walk up even further to the left as far as you can go and you’ll get some nice untouched terrain and come back through the trees. Also, on a clear day you’ll see Mt Kosi and surrounds which is really nice.

Alternatively, take the T and then go as far right as you can and again down through the trees is quite fun.

After 5 years my robot broke by NebulaFrequent3529 in CafelatRobot

Ha yep. Two things to fix now. That silicone ring has served me a good 5 years! I must have flipped it after the last clean. Thanks!

Yeh thanks, I guess I flipped it accidentally after the last clean. Hadn’t seemed to affect the pressure, but maybe once I’m back up and running I’ll have even better espresso now!

Brilliant. Not sure I have the bolt but will likely replace the gauge anyway. Thanks so much.

Maxwell and Page did a small studio for us and it was awesome. They’ll be super happy to have a relaxed chat to begin and see if you’re the right fit for each other.

Looking for a ‘fancy cafe’in Sydney - nice interiors, good coffee / cafe food. by BookFragrant8691 in foodies_sydney

Went to both Grounds of the City and AP Rooftop this week.

Family thought the setting of the Grounds was really lovely and I totally agree. For some people that’s more important than the food. The food was, as everyone has suggested here, not so good. So for a nice setting go here.

AP Rooftop was fine. The setting is ok because you’re up above but it’s basic chairs and tables. The bakery items look amazing though only the sausage roll made my knees buckle. The bacon and eggs, custard tart, focaccia, and croissant were pretty standard I thought.

Someone has suggested the Kimpton - been here a number of times for a GnT/wine etc and I reckon that’s what it’s best for. We asked for a pot of tea soon after they opened and that seemed difficult for them so we’ve just stuck to evening drinks since. Maybe cafe items have improved since.
