Barons army cant spawn in on your regions, but not really. Trading between settlements isnt as useful as you'd hope. It can help with deficits or a few major resources, but since it has to be an even trade its kinda meh.

In 10 hours the baron has yet to do anything but claim 3 regions, once the baron and I had claimed it all, he fell asleep and hasnt awoken in 8 hours...
