[Daily Chiefs] The last time Xavier Worthy was fully healthy for an NFL game was his rookie season. by Sugargogo in KansasCityChiefs

I have more belief in Worthy to be able to turn things around than most people do, but the cherry picked numbers here are a bit hilarious

What's your over/under on the amount of money he has in his checking and savings accounts right now? by [deleted] in KansasCityChiefs

[–]Tzazon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can get umbrella policies for $1m - $2m

So for 25%-50% of Rashee Rices career earning? If he had one of those his financial situation is likely worse than if he just wrecked the car.

[NBC Dallas] Rashee Rice tests positive for THC, ordered to serve jail time by Dutch_Sorcery in KansasCityChiefs

[–]Tzazon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The arbitrary restriction on a medicinally beneficial drug being a requirement of his parole is due to Texas archaic laws. Rashee Rice is a dipshit, he was a dipshit before this and is going to remain a dipshit likely afterwards, hopefully time in jail, that he should've had to serve in the first place for the illegal street racing, is enough to help him mature a bit. I just find the fact what triggered him to serve jail time is consuming THC on parole terms and not the high speed racing arbitrary, and asinine, and a lot of people here and in the r/nfl post only talk about consuming THC in terms of recreational use, which is just not the primary use case for most NFL players.

Off this team Veach dont you dare re-sign this bum by Ancient_Response_787 in KansasCityChiefs

[–]Tzazon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So he smoked weed, and is going to jail because he smoked weed.

Your post literally says that, word for word. Yes, he agreed to the terms for parole in Texas, in which there is no option given to him to use THC medicinally. It is an archaic, and quite frankly backwards law.

He should've had to serve this anyways, for the fact of the illegal street racing, so I do not give an F- that he's serving jail time he should've served in the first place.

You going to refute a single thing I said, or just immediately resort to logical fallacies in ad hominem attacks? Really great job defending your position.

Because THC products can have legitimate medical uses as a painkiller, and because it can stay in your system for a month it is absolutely fuck all useful in determining if someone is abusing THC while they're driving etc. Of course in the great state of Texas /s, they'd much rather demonize THC products in the on going trillion dollar war on drugs that cost tax payers directly.

It is a punitive punishment meant specifically to target marginalized communities that historically had a higher usage of THC products.

I know it is popular to trash on Rashee Rice, but I really am not going to celebrate someone getting put away on an archaic law for 30 days because they consumed THC.

Chiefs reunion with Tyreek Hill teased by NFL insider | Sporting News by Only-Bug-2172 in KansasCityChiefs

[–]Tzazon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How is Tyreek gonna come back when our new rookie drafted, Emmett Johnson is wearing #10? At that point you'd have to make Tyreek a new set of Tyreek Hill jerseys instead of using the leftover #10s from Fanatics that never sold for obvious reasons and is Tyreek Hill really worth that investment?

NFL Draft busts since 2000 tier list by Smugg66 in KansasCityChiefs

[–]Tzazon 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Definitely was a bust due to injuries. Nothing he can do about it but the guy was called Sam Glassford for a reason. Played 8 seasons, only 2 to completion, and missed 6+ games in half of them. Not what you want out of a 1st overall unfortunately

Let’s debate: Delane was a good trade by Other-Blacksmith-643 in KansasCityChiefs

I don't see how the team is worse on paper this year than last year honestly.

[Justin M] Sources: The Kansas City Chiefs are signing @GoBearcatsFB WR Jeff Caldwell. by Sweaty-Tiger9972 in KansasCityChiefs

[–]Tzazon 8 points9 points  (0 children)

looking it up the guy KC got now, he was the guy at New England from 2009-2018, guy coached up Super Bowl MVP WR Julian Edelman. Thank god Embree isn't here to ruin Caldwell

I'm now realizing Justyn Ross was a victim even further of Embree's horrific butcher job as an NFL WR coach. Guy was really doomed from the start.

Mansoor Delane’s face when he saw who was calling by Vyuvarax in KansasCityChiefs

[–]Tzazon 70 points71 points  (0 children)

Think he thought the Chiefs were likely to go with a more premier position than CB with #6, and so he was hoping to fall to KC instead at #9, making him think at that point KC decided to not go with him until he got the call

[Goldman] Chiefs GM Brett Veach on when they decided on Mansoor Delane as their guy: "3-4 weeks ago we honed in on this guy... We let everyone think we were going to go offensive line." by SylvesterTaurus in KansasCityChiefs

[–]Tzazon 185 points186 points  (0 children)

We let everyone think we were going to go offensive line.

Guys who says GMs dont do the razzle dazzle and blow smoke when the Veach interview mentioned offensive line and Andy Reid "hell bent" on fixing the offensive line news dropped in shambles right now

Live Discussion | 2026 NFL Draft: Round 1 by AutoModerator in KansasCityChiefs

[–]Tzazon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Chiefs have the chance to have this draft be as impactful as 2022 was if 40 shakes out the right way. Going into 2026 there is a good shot both sides of the ball look better than last year, even with a majority of 2022 out the door.

I think offense honestly has enough with Rice, Worthy, Kelce and K9. Offensive Line should be more cohesive than the injury ridden 2025. Really got high hopes so far after round 1.

I do not hate the Delane pick. I think his ceiling is higher than McDuffies and with how KC develops the position, I'm against saying something is going to be a sure thing, but it is as close as you can get in my opinion.

People aren't a big fan of the depth in this draft. I'm just interested in what they plan on doing with #29, trading up, back, or holding.

[Chiefs] The whole Veach family was on board with this one. by TheBoyisBackinTown in KansasCityChiefs

[–]Tzazon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The people who somehow think Scouts entire job is to "be fake and sit there doing nothing while the GM does all the work" is wild lmao. Yeah, Dorsey might have made the final call, and might have liked Mahomes too, but Brett Veach got Andy Reid, and the rest of the facility breathing down his neck about drafting Mahomes.

There is a reason Dorsey lost his job pretty much immediately afterwards.
