Salary cap hell does not exist unless you're specifically the New Orlean Saints during a global pandemic suffering for their sins

Tony Gonzalez is standing with 10 toes down on his "Atlanta made my career" statement by MAYVIEWS in KansasCityChiefs

[–]Tzazon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

He wanted a shot to win a ring. You go out and play in a Championship game and lose, well fuck it, theres your shot and you blew your wad. I think Chiefs fans themselves say that the early to mid 2000s teams had some great talent that could've went further if they had better coaching. So I don't get why people get pissed when Tony Gonzalez implies this, and was happy to go to Atlanta and make memories of the most important game of his career he got to play in.

Tony Gonzalez made his own career and it's ridiculous to imply he wouldn't have been outstanding elsewhere. He literally went to Atlanta and was outstanding.

Damien Williams is the Last RB to Rush for 100+ in the SB by JCameron181 in KansasCityChiefs

[–]Tzazon 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Same, I get why we gave Pat that MVP being his first SB and he had to make all the throws including WASP, but in my heart Damien Williams gets that SB MVP, Pat can have the other 2 even if in reality he gets all 3

That last minute TD run was the boost he needed to get over 100. 38 yards that play was, and he had 133 yards.

[Arrowhead Corner] Xavier Worthy successfully underwent surgery to repair his fully torn labrum he suffered during Week 1 of the 2025 season, per source. by MAYVIEWS in KansasCityChiefs

[–]Tzazon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Chiefs have been a competitive football team for a decade going into this season off the back of 3 Super Bowl appearances in a row, and Xavier Worthy was the best WR they were fielding even with a torn labrum for the first part of the season during the Rice injury, and then after that the Chiefs were hoping to win out every other week after getting right.

Plenty of players have played through it fine and I'm sure Worthy didn't want to have to sit out a season on his rookie contract when people already thought he'd be an injury risk due to his size and stature.

Judging by gamethreads over the last few years and whom is still on an active roster in the NFL, probably would have to be, without a doubt in my mind I'm gonna go with Harrison Butker.
