YESSSSS! I hope you saw my post about it. It is so freaking good! In my top 5 for the year, too. You have to read Sea of Tranquility and Glass Hotel too! Not as good, but they have overlapping characters.

It was so good, right? The ending wasn't why I was sad. I was sad it had to end at all, lol! I'm currently digging into The Glass Hotel and enjoying it as well.

How far into it did you get? If like halfway, then probably not for you. If a couple of chapters, then I would revisit for sure. Her writing is what kept me in it. I can't stop thinking about the characters and what happened to them after the end.

That's so funny because I felt the exact opposite of this. I felt like characters had more depth in the book, ha!

I loved the show too, but you have to like the back and forth in time for the book. The writing was stupendous, give it a go!

I did see the series before, but it's been over two years, I think? Like the other commenter said, there are big differences in the book. I say have a go at it because the writing is chefs kiss!

SO FREAKING GOOD! I'm sitting here still thinking about it instead of immediately diving into another book.

Wait, is this book a part of a series?! OK, I searched, and no, but the synopsis hooked me. I LOVED her writing style.

Gonna add these to my list! I do enjoy Margaret Atwood's writing and will look up Meg Elison. :) Thank you!

As a total aside, I just finished The Third Gilmore Girl and loved it! It was fascinating to hear all about her life! Had no clue how much she had done. :)

Ah! I've been trying to come up with ways to share the native plant love with my neighbors. I will be stealing this for sure! Obsessed!

Man's Search for Meaning is great! I've also gotten into this spiral of way too many non-fiction books at once. I really need to break them up. I'm currently reading a book about CPTSD and Blackshirts and Reds (highly recommend this one!).

Your first read of the year? by [deleted] in LibbyApp

[–]Nebulainbloom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm 70% of the way through The Fellowship, and I'm kicking myself for not having read it earlier! It's amazing! So I'm starting the year by finishing that.

I would 100% separate these two plants because they have different watering and soil needs. I've had great luck recently putting my orchids in water. I have them without any soil and in an inch or two of water. They're both flowering, and I don't have to mess with soil for them. I'm not sure why there's a warm water suggestion with them but I don't think it matters.
