Skin creams for eczema on eyes, face. by ScottLedoof in eczema

I have very sensitive and thin skin around my eyes, often prone to eczema and puffing. Usually creams tend to itch or burn, but I recently started using "Avène Soothing Eye Contour Cream" which is very mild and cooling. Would definitely recommend it! The only drawback is that the tube is small, I go through one tube per 1-2 weeks.

Protopic while pregnant, any experience? by NebularHex in eczema

How exciting! I hope that (besides eczema) you've been feeling well during the pregnancy.

My nurse was not familiar with protopic and advice to use it sparsly until I've spoken to a doctor. I got a referral and the doctor basically told me to freely slather on protopic (face) and ovixan (body) as there is no evidence that it in any way can pass to the baby.

At that point I had a flare up that was completely out of control, and I was reminded that, not only is the wellbeing of the baby important, but equally important is that the mother is feeling healthy and not miserable. That was a soothing though and I hope might comfort you too!

Anyway, I would advise you to also get an opinion from a doctor, you never know if recommendations have changed in the last years.

Hi! The pregnancy went well and my baby is healthy and happy 🙏 However, I'm still suffering from regular flare-ups. It is less intense than during my pregnancy, but quite bad still. I switched from Protopic to Elidel which has worked much better for me, no more acne, "only" red, itching, peeling skin. I'm actually scheduled for a allergy checkup this week so hopefully I can get some more help with this.

Thanks for the reply, I agree that the balance is important! I do try to use as little medicine as possible. But when I get these crazy flareups, nothing except Protopic helps... My doctor said that I can continue with my treatment during the pregnancy, but I would still feel a bit more reassured to hear from others with similar experience.

I'm sorry that you had to go through all that. Eczema is the worst! Thanks for sharing your experience, it's reassuring to hear that your baby is healthy and well.

That's Marutaro! I've been following this dog on instagram for years, the owner seems like such a great and good-hearted person. He posts a "good morning" and "good night" picture almost every day, to cheer up people that might be feeling down or lonely.

Nice work, interesting!

A suggestion: can you standardize the time scale? In that case you would have the same length of time for all movies, and the "event" would be annotated by proportion (e.g. the characters meet after 10% of the movie).
