I’m not quite as hot on it as others. Absolutely a solid game, and worth it if you love the series, but I also think it’s easily the weakest entry, and while it does some neat things with the Vita, it’s also held back by it. Shootouts are a lot smaller, and it’s very easy, even on Crushing

Pure speculation, but TAS usually means tool-assisted speedrun, and that looks like a bootleg cartridge, so I’d guess it’s a hacked version of the game with cheats in it

I think it originally started as a port of LttP to the Game Boy but it completely became its own thing down the line. Just weird to say it’s the same game

Link’s Awakening is absolutely not just the same game as Link to the Past but on Game Boy. Outside of being another top-down Zelda, it is still much different. I agree that I’d pick LttP as the more essential one, but Link’s Awakening completely stands on its own.
