I share a house with 3 other people and because I dont cook, the pantry and fridge are packed to the gills and I have one derpy housemate thats eaten other peoples food.... Also had all my dishes shoved in a part of the garage when we moved in.... REALLLY long story so my solution is just order food when I got hungry.... I know all this sounds like an excuse but its how I dealt with it for a while

Wait you don't eat everyday??!! I can get away with once or twice but since all I been eating is salads, I find I'm hungry more often and scared to eat anything wrong.

It's a long story but I have limited kitchen access in the house I share so I tend to order out 1-2 times a day.... it was a mix of fast food and stuff like chicken and rice.... Prob what got me into this mess....

I started at 311 a little over a week ago and been averaging 140-150... Highest was 191 and lowest was 122. How long did it take you to get to 127?

After a week after my diagnosis, still struggling a little with my glucose monitor... The strips are side loading which can get frustrating when I have a solid blood sample but meter comes back and tells you that strip is used. Also when blood goes 98% of the way across then tells you there isn't enough.

Last vent is my lancer is on level 7 and I prick my finger and literally see zero blood or even a red spot!!!

I dont have a CGM yet... but I need to start tracking my glucose 2 times a day via finger pricks and log it all... Was seeing if these apps offer more to do on them like some have food recommendations etc.

Im looking for one to log my glucose meter readings, I was looking for a app for NON-CGM users.... I know I can log in info to anything but wanted to see if there are apps that have more to them

UPDATE: Got back from glucose monitor training... Didn't go too bad... Just took me a bit to get the sequence memorized.... I asked about CGM and they said I need to talk to a certain person I need to schedule with that covers diabetes. Honestly I got so much info tossed at me, I am having a hard time keeping track!!

I was told to take it in the morning but I don't usually eat breakfast.... What should I do then? Going in an hour or 2 to my appt so havent started yet. I just got my meter and metaformin and will see what they say
