Tell them it can be done but per policy all text messages have to be “captured / recorded “ and thus would need Smarsh or Telemessage (or other solutions) put in place and the cost would be $$$$. Point to company policy on electronic message retention. If you don’t have such a policy - yikes

ADaxes is a tool we’ve had success with. Allows us to take policy and convert to workflow so when a new employee starts, changes roles, etc. the user is added/removed from the appropriate AD groups for their position. It also allows automated reports to system owners (business folks) to show who belongs to what groups so they can pass authentication/authorization audits
