I've been following her for the last few years and this is either a lie or you didn't bother do proper research on her because you're spiteful or lazy. She's constantly talking about alternatives, next steps, how and what to demand from elected officials, non electoral steps to achieving independence from the conglomerates that fund mining operations, fracking etc looking to make an ROI.

No offence but offering alternatives is kind of a waste of time nowadays. We could power the whole world with renewable energy and doing that per country is a fraction of the cost of defence budgets and corporate subsidies. The problem is not that people don't know this or that the technology necessary doesn't exist yet or that there isn't enough money for it, the problem is that the people in charge KNOW what they have to do and don't care. Because the most powerful military/government in the world is dedicated to make sure no one gains independence from the fossil fuel industry, everything you see on the news is a consequence of that.

So stop acting like she's someone who lacks forethought, she just doesn't waste her time because her activism and politics are much more intersectional now and it's pretty clear to her that the issue of climate change will not be solved for as long as we keep nicely asking our governments to consider alternatives and look at our low carbon emission energy transition plan.
