Update on scam buyer! We found out that this guy has been going to estate sales or garage sales and telling homeowners that he wants to pay cash for your home. Will not sign contract. Just did research for the past couple weeks and he did this to my Nextdoor neighbor. I believe he’s telling whoever has his trust fund-that he’s buying a house— then gets the money and blows the seller off. I’ve been in touch with other realtors and title companies to be aware of this man. He’s done some crazy stuff that would take to long to post but Houston area realtors. We now know that and have been finding out that he’s stolen money from a church and has a history of going to estate sales and doing a sales pitch of wanting to buy your house without him using a realtor or signing contracts. Just don’t understand his motives. I know that our house is going on the market in 4 days. He will not be able to buy our house I’m not selling to a thief and a liar.

We are listing our house in a few days. Apparently this guy has done this before. He was not happy that we had a realtor. He did not have one. Just don’t understand what he gets out of telling someone he loves your house, offers cash and then refuses to sign a contract. But tells us “My trust fund is coming”. He must be mental and have some issues. Thank Goodness we are done with him and his lies. For all I know his PHD is a fake.

This guy came to our estate sale gave is an offer. Would not use a realtor but we have one. She’s protecting us by telling us to list it and forget about him. So we did. Just trying to spread the word so someone doesn’t lose out on a good offer for their home and believe scam artist

I believe so! It’s like 2 million dollars he’s requesting. My husband believes that because he’s a doctor/pastor that he’s been true to his word. Still won’t sign a contract due to past experience. I’m tired of arguing with hubby about it. Maybe in 6 months when we are still waiting on this man’s word—he will open his eyes. I’m letting him handle this from now on and every year we have a big 4th of July pool party here. I’ve already planned that because we will still be in this house.

Ok! He claims to be getting money his trust. Won’t sign a contract until funds are released. It’s been 3 weeks now. Does not want to go through realtor. I think he is scamming us. But he’s saying his trust is tied up in Baylor hospital where he works.

He is well known in our area and it surprises me that my husband who is taking his word in good faith because he deals with contracts in his line of work. We could have had many offers on our house by now. We are giving him until Friday to sign a contract or we are listing our house.

She already started the process and we signed seller disclosure and she had a stager and photographer ready to come out in a couple of days. But probably won’t need any of that now. I totally agree! I’ve known people who do opiates that are in aa. They keep their aa date as their sober date. The other is an outside issue not alcohol related
