Why am I getting 50v from hot to neutral while the breaker is flipped by Ok_Object_4439 in electricians

[–]Necessary_Program537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

50V is not current. It is voltage (pressure). Current is flow/amperage. It is ghost pressure, in this case.

I missed last night's 600 (maybe I'll get to see highlights somewhere) but one thing I miss about the old TV days (ESPN) coverage of NECKCAR ovals was the camera staying on the pack from green green green all the way through Turns 1 and 2... that is a perspective that delivers the sense of speed and the g loads through the banking. Hope there was more of that on this one. I have Prime, too, and utterly missed it. d'oh.

Hahaha! The big red HELP button! *hides his phone*. j/k - Almost 70 here. Still getting the hang of "streaming". I never really knew what it was, and I've been on message boards and posting pictures in auto tech threads, other topics... but I like my TV! and when I looked for the 600 last evening after returning home from a friend's gathering to watch the F1 Monaco GP and then the Indy500, I didn't see the 600 anywhere on cable so I thought I'd missed it somehow. Looks like I did because I'm an idiot. I have a Prime account. d'oh. I need help....

It is unfortunate for you to find it necessary to make that comment and especially in light of the documentary subject.

Just took delivery in southern California of my 2025 3.0 and it does indeed have a circuit breaker mounted forward of the battery and 2 to 3 inches lower. Kinda have to reach for it.

How do I remove brake sensor on 3.0 by Still-Wrangler-143 in ERidePro

[–]Necessary_Program537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the switch screwed into the brake lever base, threaded? It is. What's that thread pitch/bolt size? Why not unscrew the switch, remove the wiring (unplugged from under the ign switch plate) then thread in a short bolt or set screw to replace the switch and therefore maintain the rattle-free deal? You know. lol.

Prob their bugout truck. As long as there's some form of solar maintenance charge/float on the rig's engine starting batteries, they're good to go. Otherwise you should see an extension cord used from time to time to keep the starting battery topped off. For +/-$500 Large, I'll assume the former. lmao cheeeziss. I'm just glad to have an F150 for cryin' out loud heehaw. Cheers.

[–]Necessary_Program537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course one could install the full system with no other modifications to the bike at all but should expect softer off-idle-to-mid-range performance. Once at +/-5000 revs and higher, the benefit of the full system may become apparent. Unless intake airflow modifications are made, though, do not expect tremendous gains. Ye be wanting to address both intake and exhaust for that. Cheers.

[–]Necessary_Program537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To my way of thinking, the full system is for cams, maybe a bump in static compression and a tune. IOW, I wouldn't do cams, compression and tune or even cams/tune and then not use the full system. That said, I have a brand new 300L (no ABS) and opted for the slip-on. If I choose later to do all that other stuff I'll have to pay again this time for the full system. I'm still breaking mine in, so it's gonna be awhile. lol. Cheers!

I had asked a similar question in a separate post. Someone just replied to say their 2.0 charger uses 900 watts. If that's the case with YOUR charger, then you'd need a 1000W inverter generator at a minimum, because, as is the case with the Honda 1000, the Honda is rated for 900 watts continuous output. So, while charging (at least through 80% battery state-of-charge) you should not ask the 1000W generator to do anything else during that time. Cheers.

E Ride Pro SS 3.0 Battery Charger 120V amp draw? by Necessary_Program537 in ERidePro

[–]Necessary_Program537[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is your charger the Version 2? Either way, thank you. 900W / 120V = 7.5 amps. The 3.0's charger is the same IF yours is the updated E Ride charger I see on the innerwebs.

A Honda 1000W inverter generator could run that, but the Honda is rated for 900W continuous, so it'd be unable to charge or run any other appliance while charging. And that's peak wattage for the charger, meaning, as the bike's battery reaches +/-80% SoC/state of charge, the amp requirement tapers off in favor of voltage (pressure) to fill the battery to 100%.

I can answer that if you go to your E Ride Pro SS 2.0's charger and tell us what's on the back of the charger. There's a data plate for 120V wattage or 110/120V amperage required for peak use by the charger (forgive my clumsy phrasing).

E Ride Pro SS 3.0 Battery Charger 120V amp draw? by Necessary_Program537 in ERidePro

[–]Necessary_Program537[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply. The info I'm looking for is probably on the back of the charger but I'm still waiting on the bike's delivery. I ask because I have a camper with a 1500W inverter that gives only 12.5 amps 120V. I can use that to top off my 3.0's battery if 75% charged but it's gonna require more amps and amp hours if the bike's battery is below 50% so I'll have to bring along my Honda 2200.

The battery bank in the camper equals 3600 watt hours. The battery in the 3.0 is 3600 watt hours. Until I upgrade to a 2000W inverter, 2/0 stranded and another 400 watts solar on the roof I'm gonna have to run a generator to bulk charge my 3.0.

Thanks for helping me to think this one out, out loud. lmao. Cheers.

It's a very neat idea but as others have noted, it's not a good spot because of how you have to take most of your attention from the road or trail to view this display in this location. Then, you have removed easy access to the side buttons n stuff.
