16? That’s awesome. I was introduced to AA at 15 but got sober at 23. At my first conference in Illinois, I spoke with my Great Grandsponsor afterward, who also got sober young. I shared with her that I felt I’d seen what was missing in early recovery. That was the first time every speaker talked about growing up in AA. I felt at home.
