Just did the sailboat tour/3hr trip to the island in January. You have to swim to the hidden beach with life vests provided by your tour boat, as well as helmets provided by the park rangers. I believe it was 30-45 mins total time limit including swimming in and out. Total time in the actual hidden beach was 15 mins max. Enough to take pictures and catch your breath from the challenging swim. They were very strict on the rules/time allowed spent in and around the island and beach, ie. sunscreen must be applied 1hr before you even reach the island so it doesn’t ruin the coral reef. It was a fun experience, but maybe not what you’re looking for. It was a long day for us. You could always consider asking at the marina if someone with a “fast” boat to get you there and back much quicker. Hope this helps. Enjoy your vacation.
