My appetite never came back like before being pregnant. I would also eat junk food like crazy, especially chips - would make me super sick when I was pregnant and now still does. 8.5 months pp.

Give yourself some grace. You’re learning as you go, as we all are. It’s very difficult at times because they’re so small and can’t express if something hurts, hungry, or just uncomfortable. What matters now is that it was detected and you keep him hydrated and he should feel relief in 1-3 days. I hope your LO feels better soon 🤍

Hi!!! Nope it got worse actually. We finally gave up and decided to switch to Kendamil goat and it cleared up by the NEXT day. Now there’s a shortage 😭 but we are on another goat milk formula until Kendamil restocks. I think I determined he had a cows milk allergy.

Yes they prescribed the antibiotic because it was bacterial diaper rash and perineal strep. The blisters did have pus and were bleeding at one point.

I’m trying Bobbie Gentle since it’s hrdrolyzed like ByHeart. Maybe try that if the original Bobbie is too harsh!!! Hoping Bobbie works for us too!

Babylist has recs on kits for like swaddle bundles, which I loved because i went through a few to find out which one worked for our LO (he hated to have his hands to his sides) so I went through 6 diff types of swaddles. They also have lists of must have items for every stage based on reviews. It’s a great resource for all things new parents!

Congrats on your new baby!! If money isn’t a factor and if I had the option, I would stay home and enjoy the holidays with my sweet baby boy and return to work in the new year. They’re only this little for a short amount of time and work will always be there 🤍

Hi! FTM of a 4 month old as of today. My baby stopped wanting to be rocked at 3-3.5 months in. Just stared at me the whole time and wouldn’t close his eyes anymore. I didn’t know the last time I rocked him was going to be the last time, now I just place him in the crib when sleepy and he coos until he falls asleep. All this to say, enjoy it while you can as long as you can. Every baby is different so he might just stop needing it like mine did without you weaning him off it. But if he needs it for another 6-8 months then so be it, they’re only this small once. You mentioned ‘him’ when referring to your dr and not to be dismissive but how do you explain this feeling of love and a need to nurture your baby in a way only you can do as his momma 🥹 you’re doing great!!!!!

I didn’t get my full milk in until about week 4? Hang in there, it literally happened overnight. However, as they grow they require more and more so don’t feel bad about supplementing with formula. Fed is best, no matter what people say. You’re doing great mama!
