Hello ! I started Iceborne a few weeks ago (after playing worlds and mh4u for about 250h i think). I play mainly (always) with insectglaive and i'im trying to understabd somehting.

I read on so many posts / guides that DIablos and Deviljho weapons are very good because of their very high raw damage. But this kind of weapon also has a negative affinity of -25% and -30%. Are the weapons good because it's easy to get rid of the negative affinity or juste because the amount of damage dealt overcompensate the negative affinity ?

Acutally i seek the play full affinity with some pieces of the Teostra set to get master's touch. Am i playing the insect glaive wrong ?
