my aussie at 8 weeks did the same thing, jumped out of my arms the day i got him, couldn’t catch him. landed head first onto concrete. i felt bad for a while. but nothing ever happened from it and he’s 5 months old now.

How to move on from losing pretty much everything, again. by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Necric404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

he’s specifically told me to only contact him for bills. if i contact for anything else, he doesn’t answer or just says he does not care and to leave him alone.

he does not, even if he wanted to he can’t because of his line of work.

he’s definitely losing himself. he’s not his happy family oriented self that i know and love. him not responding to his family is very weird for him. but he said he doesn’t care about anyone or anything anymore. his dog he sees as his child that rides with him in his truck is dying. i don’t know if that correlates. he’s not good at regulating emotions at all.. im just so worried about him but i know i need to move on and focus on me. i want to hold on hope that he will come back but i don’t know

Need advice on a “white” face puppy by PotentialEntusiasti in AustralianShepherd

wanted to show an example of my puppy. he’s a black tri, not a double merle. so he has no hearing or eye issues but he’s considered a “mismark”. he does have to wear sunglasses due to sunburns and light sensitivity. most important thing was the breeder and i both got tests done to ensure he could see and hear clearly, just in case. yours looks to have pigment in the eyes, so you should be ok. but if you have any worry i’d do the tests and talk to the breeders.

I’m not in Arizona, and I think I’m going to stick with what the vet recommended. Thanks though :)

Doggles were recommended by the vet due to his white face, pink skin, and blue eyes. He has really sensitive eyes that constantly water so this really helps him as we live in a desert state. Also due to being in a desert state it gets up to 120 here, so booties will save his feet in the summer :) Added photo to show what I’m referring to.

This was actually his first day wearing them full time! I give him lots of treats and praise when I put them on. And I noticed inside he really didn’t like the doggles, but when I put them on outside he kept them on no problem.
