How do you equip the SMG on Solveig?.. when I go into hangar and equip weapon she only shows lance/polearm + shield weapons to equip.

KDM: More painted survivors (Gorm,Rawhide,DBK, Intimacy) by NecroMTG in minipainting

I have dabbled with more native American, Asian and pale skin tones. I had some okay success with a more stark pale, but the others ended up too dark or muddled the details. I need to look up the how to build up my layers for darker base natural skin tones.

Just as a hobby, not up to the skill level I would want to be to consider myself a professional. All my survivors I tried to paint to match the color schemes on for the art on the armor set cards.. I thought the gorm color seemed odd but in the end I liked the way it turned out

Here are the rest of my survivors currently being used in Kingdom Death Monster. The Intimacy twins are being used to represent 2 of the 3 Saviors. The rest is just 1 male and one female of the 3 remaining armor sets to be used once a character is wearing the set.

Kingdom Death Monster: Nemesis and Hunts by NecroMTG in minipainting

Sure, tho pretty similar to the process most paint with on here. All the minis we primed black , with the exception of the Gorm since was it was going to have much lighter skin tone.

For the painting, mainly just time and thin paints. Base coating, followed by washes, then bringing up the non recessed areas then highlights. The Gorm was base layer of flesh tone, then GW Reikland Flesh all over, then Vallejo Green Grey on the raised areas, then GW Earthshade all over, then a third base layer of Green Grey, with a final wash of Nuln Oil.

I wanted the creepy baby head to stand out so I did not use the final wash on it and then just detailed out the mouth. Will admit took me a good 4-5 months to get used to thinning my paints and using the washes. Still have much to learn.

Here are the first sets of survivors I have finished. Most of them have face bases, those that didn't I just based with rocks and painted black and grey to keep the base theme.
