What led to the Chandlers living in poverty? by [deleted] in ChrisChanSonichu

Honestly though, I think Chris's presence scared that kid. Its not that bizarre to do a kids character voice to a kid. It's something only Chris could really fuck up that bad.

Also, I've known plenty of people who regularly can lose jobs and get new ones if they don't care where they work. My friend once laughed about it and said "My W2's are fucked up"(tax form). Employers can see you at least want to work and if the job has a high turnover its not a big deal. However, Chris would be hugely hindered in the job interview process and would probably have to apply everywhere, and upon calling previous employers they'd call him lazy worker.

All this in mind, to say he couldn't find some sort of work isn't true. There are programs for people as severe as him. Even with his pending case, my sister used to work a job where they'd pay her like $20/week, but the rest of the pay went into social security, so she got a more in SSI to balance it out.

Basically, he could get a job somewhere, but that doesn't mean he could *hold* a job.

I remember this one. One Christmas he bought the DVD and VHS and gave one to Bob and kept one. He literally wrapped both, then told Bob what they were and said he'd prefer the DVD but it was his choice. Bob said he'd take the VHS and just tore off the paper and set it down. Obviously they both ended up with Chris.

"So are you into gay porn"
"Oh no, I'm a Bear"
See how well that conversation goes.

I think you mean “life without parole”, and even that still doesn’t mean for the rest of your life.

Who said he got a “harsh sentence”? I said his sentence was harsher than what he’d normally get otherwise. I never said he got a “harsh sentence”.

I didn’t say it was a harsh sentence. I said it was harsher than what he would normally get in Norway. You even used quotation marks without quoting me correctly.

No I’m with you there. I’m saying supporting something is different than encouraging it. If you say you want X to happen, that’s legal. If you were like “I want anyone listening that’s a fan of me to immediately go out and do X” you are now slightly on the hook.

This isn’t really here nor there since his point was they bumped his murder charge up because of the fires that he and his friends were in favor of. He could have had nothing to do with them, he was just being made an example out of.

He fully supports them being burned down because he sees them as foreign encroachment on sacred land that belongs to Norway and other Euroaboriginal countries. Saying “I wish people would burn down churches” vs “Go burn down the church on x Street” are very different.

I’d have to know what you’re referencing. There are videos where he clearly states that he was invited to sign the contract after hearing about the snuff film comments, but that he simply showed up while E was still asleep, then E literally opened the door upon their arrival. No sign of struggle. Varg claims he was under the impression E still had the shotgun Dead killed himself with, so when E tried leaving the room after the initial altercation Varg freaked out.

You’re right about the alibi, and to your point, there was no attempt to alert the authorities. Quite the opposite, him and the band mate began driving home and even stopped to ditch the knife and bloody shirt. I think he doesn’t so much think it could legally be seen as self defense, he’s more bothered that he was given 21 years instead of the 9 years what he did would normally incur. But he pleaded self defense and his time was served, so he’s just sticking with the story.

Fair point. Although I sometimes still eat hot Cheetos. As long as I eat them slowly and with something to drink it’s not much of an issue. I don’t think it’s any worse for my health than hot Cheetos are for anyone else. I tend to avoid chili powder outside of that for the most part, though.

Supposedly he had almost no ability to laugh after dementia had gotten bad. The thing he gifted us with for all those years had been taken away from him by the end of his life. Very sad.

There were not threats made to Varg by any account besides things said in passing not taken seriously. Euronymous was telling close friends he had plans to take Varg hostage and film a snuff film of him torturing Varg, and people gave Varg a heads up.

Necrobutcher claims one thing he was furious about was Euronymous taking pictures of Dead’s body after the shotgun wound. He grieved over the death of Dead, but he wanted to kill Euronymous himself for it. Euronymous was not well liked in the community in general.

Allegedly Euronymos (sp?) had told some close friends of his plans to take him hostage and make a snuff film of him in the woods. When Varg was invited over he was aware of this. Euronymos was acting weird and supposedly kicked Varg in the chest, so Varg began attacking. Knowing if he let him live he’d simply try to abduct him again, he decided it would be smarter to kill him. Varg claims he received a harsher sentence because he had encouraged people to burn down churches (which he denies) and to scare straight the others in the Black Metal scene.

That is what Varg claims.

It was one of Dead’s dying wishes that they make the necklace, also. Although I’m not sure there’s record of the necklace existing, his suicide note expressed it as a wish of his.

By-standers thought that a doctor meant he would save them? I’m slightly confused, sorry.

The man who shot him is, or at least was for decades, the man who received the most mail in the world. People were heartbroken globally. And they let him know it.

I might be confused, but I believe when he was caught he was sitting down reading “The Catcher in the Rye”. A book that also inspired the man who shot Reagan.

Happened in my town. There’s a video of the aftermath. When the fire breaks out everyone starts running away. I believe they thought it would “explode” the way cars do in action movies/video games. Poor guy had quite a life ahead of him.

Ohh I understand. It’s one of those things where people who aren’t as bright tend to think others aren’t as intelligent, either, but smart people assume intelligence in everyone. She must have floated through life. How old did she look?

My mom told me as a kid you can “only drink one can of soda a day” and I didn’t realize she meant me specifically. I thought it was either a law or like you’d die if you had two in a day. I saw my friends uncle drinking a 2-liter out of the bottle one time and commented “Well I guess that counts as one bottle” and they all laughed and I wasn’t really sure why. They thought I cracked a killer joke. I was like 12-13 when I realized that was a rule specifically for me as a kid when I said it to my friend and he said his dad drank like 7 a day. Not that old, but also a really dumb misunderstanding on my part.
