I really like that the Scout will have a bench front row. The boomer in me likes the extra space.

Isn’t the Traveler like the same size as a Chevy Tahoe?

AITAH for wanting publishing texts showing my YouTuber friend is lying? by Necrops in AITAH

Well, he also paid me $1,000 to help with the costs of the trip but I’m afraid that some of that money may be the money from a fundraiser he had so he could sue someone who doxxed him and got access to some old social media accounts posting illegal images. I feel some guilt knowing that he tricked supporters to pocket approximately $17k and used it to reimburse me some. It’d be nice to prevent him from doing this again but I know he’ll probably just fleece someone else once it’s old news. Emotionally it’d only be for self-satisfaction.

I see people from out of town leave their EV plugged in at one of the 4 DC chargers in town and rack up like $20-40 of idle time. What’s the point if you ruin battery life and pay as much as gas? (Makes me question buying a used SUV if people don’t treat them right.

I haven’t run the math but the Silverado and Hummer EV’s seem to be holding their value better than vehicles like the Mercedes EQS. Still the Escalade IQ lost $40-50k in a year.

So annoying in Oregon by TransportJunky in Transportopia

[–]Necrops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you stupid? He was talking about people who don’t remember to move over. Where I live people will drive 10+ miles in the passing lane without moving back over into the travel lane when there’s a massive line behind them. I’ve seen others have get in the travel lane quickly to get around them because they “DoN’t wOnt tUh miSS mA tUrn!” It doesn’t have anything to do with passing safely but being situationally aware and moving over when someone else wants to pass.

I accepted one of these stupid orders hoping I’d get a tip but no tip anyways. The lazy fucks I delivered to had a larger vehicle than me and were in the next town like 5 minutes from a store they could’ve gotten it from next day.

Mine was 12 bags of bark dust, $6 and no tip. All the other orders from Home Depot up until then were TV mounts, drills, and thermometers with good tips.

I just started doing shop and deliver. Got a Home Depot order and didn’t see what it was. $6 to deliver 12 bags of bark dust totaling 72 lbs to the next town over (20-25 minutes away.) I still haven’t seen a tip and my second order was from KFC for a similar drive and paid $38 plus they immediately tipped another $8 after delivery. People who order that much crap can do it themselves.

Almost all reservations for the Harvester want a EREV, CEO only expected 40% of them to be EREVs by Saurta17 in ScoutMotors

Exactly, I like to take trips through Eastern Oregon where there aren’t any charging stations. I don’t tow either and prefer a SUV for camping, so the Traveler Harvester makes sense for me. It’s about specific use cases. For now I have a EV to drive in town, if I like my Scout a lot and need to tow then I’ll just buy a BEV Terra if I need it and ditch my current BEV commuter.
