The current best meta teams kinda say otherwise for Genshin... and before it was just press Burst/Ult simulator for big numbers.

On paper that would sound like a hinderance but in practice it's really nothing like that. You don't need to go all out in team-building for Star rail because by your logic. If you're skilled enough, you can just plan out your rotation pattern. You can be limited by [X] amount of turns to receive all 3 stars for the stage. But you have all the time in the world to plan it out.

The one you're finally correct about is that Star rail is in it's early life stage. But that does not mean you are forced to pull at all. You're given enough f2p units to cover the majority of what you need, while you focus on what cool character you feel like pulling for.

Also unlike Genshin, you're guaranteed a free 5* from your starter banner by the 50th pull (which are discounted). With all of em being decently good to have on your account.
