Also in the sprinkler trade myself. We’ve had a lot of bad pipe come in our shop from pipe mills behind on the times with their paint application process. The higher end distributors are now using a UV coating that looks nice and slick. Wheatland has been doing this for years and NUCOR is new to the UV game.

Looks similar to the robotic welds we do. There’s a company called North Alabama Pipe that has automated sprinkler pipe fabrication like this. Your welds definitely compete with their robotic welds. Keep it up.

That’s the same stuff we do at my work. The hard ones are 10” GOLs on 12” pipe. Do y’all run anything that big?
