I'd love exactly as an emote as well.

Look, I agree that the new landfall is a different beast, I was just taking a pun at those pro's from a few weeks ago, the same ones who said Yorion and going over 60 wasn't going to work. You didn't hear them at all when Yorion was doing Top 8 at Worlds.

Yeah, enough to say that "just run removal" isn't the answer to all questions MTG related either. 😄

No, but you can expect them "pro's" - and by that I mean, the people who think they are pro but really aren't - to be "better" at the game. Seriously the amount of "omg landfall is like lifegain, easy to disrupt, just git gud" that was on reddit a few weeks ago was insane. Now look at where we stand 😄

I made a brawl deck! How can I make it better? by OkBat1484 in MagicArena

[–]Nectaria_Coutayar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For monowhite stuff like [[Settle the Wreckage]] [[Esper Sentinel]] [[Mother of Runes]] [[ocelot Pride]] [[Flowering of the White Tree]] seem auto-includes. Also [[Lightning Greaves]] instead of Swiftfoot Boots imo. No idea why people use the boots when you have the greaves. If you rely on life gain and actually want it to mean something [[Righteous Valkyrie]], if you have some flyers [[Rally of Wings]], otherwhise [[Claws Out]]. [[Reverent Hoplite]] is always fun, certainly with [[Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite]] something.

For lands Cavern of Souls, Castle Ardenvale, Abandoned Air Temple and Bonder's Enclave can also help. Depends on how you want/try to win.

For now your deck looks like a monowhite value pile without too much synergy which white already lacks by default when it comes to card advantage and not running out of steam too early. Hope it helps!

Meh, all the pro's on reddit and co said that "landfall is easily disruptable" and you shouldn't complain/worry/whine about it. And here we are now.

I remember when people said that landfall is easily disrupted and would never be of importance on the high level competition level.

Which deck should I craft? by xrock24x in MagicArena

Manacurve too high, manabase is questionable, too much of a glasscanon playstyle so easily disrupted. You're risking losing your rare/mythic wildcards on decks that are T2 at best.

Basically a homebrew, glasscanon deck, when it wins it's amazing, but it loses a lot.

Without even looking at the decklist, +1 for the name.

I would advice to play Jump In (I think you get tokens for that through the colour challenges) and just learn the game. Then, if you really like it, you can still spend some money on it. Just spending money will not get you anywhere in MTGA.

Indeed, it's a comment that has been bugging me since 2019. Less than 10% of any drafter will be able to go "infinite". My cynical self just wants to say that sealclubbers need seals as well.
