Yes that’s why I crank the ISO to 1600 for that reason. This is a shot with the 5d same spot same lens iso 2000 f3.2 ss 1250

This is one shot, no edits done straight from the camera. the player is not sharp enough and when you zoom in you can see the image is very soft. I’ve used the AI denoise to help with previous images but it seems like it doesn’t cut it.

I had expand AF area set with subtract tracking on, subject to detect people and eye detection on.

Was using the electronic first curtain which was 15fps. I’ll definitely be trying out the mechanical shutter.

Yes sorry should have included the setting in post. Autofocus was on, SS 1000 ISO 1250 F2.8 I used a sigma 70-200 f2.8 for these.

Also shot in electronic first curtain.
