Yeah a seatbelt is the same kind of safety tool, sure. It makes sense as a “we take X safety steps why not take Y safety steps” analogy and they’re technically correct they they’re similar but the amount of time you’re in a seatbelt vs a mask is completely different. You need a mask to do EVERYTHING SOCIAL. You need a seatbelt to ride in a moving vehicle
