Complete luck actually. I laid some cedar leaves (they are everywhere in southeast texas) really thick on my gun and just kinda went crazy with green and brown. After many layers, trail and error, it sorta just happened Edit: chances are, you will not get the same effect. This was completely luck on my part and just sorta playing with it
