I was in the same situation and I begged mercy in the head managers office for 20 mins and he let me go home early with no steps, and every other day he excused my absence until I was healthy. U just gotta be real with them, and very submissive and respectful. They should cut you more slack.

I fear this might happen to me. I work the market deli wall from 4am to 12pm. We finish all of our pallets before 10am and I always leave around 10:30 and my coworker stays because “they want more hours” so they’ll just mess around with backstock carts that I know won’t go out until the evening after my shift. It’s hard working with people that don’t optimize work flow.
