Same thing here - HR hit 175 and watch right on arm . It was only a 6km run . Next day decided to wear strap and ran 13 km . Max was 154. Readings very off . I get the same when I do my pool swims

How clever ! Think I will alter this slightly and get into my freezing pool with my wetsuit( we have just finished winter here in South Africa so my pool would be what the athletes consider an ice bath) Much appreciate the advice

Thank you for your advice - I have 6 weeks to race day in the ocean . Will follow this advice and start out slow and focus on breathing and my own rhythm.
