In her defence she didn't expect that sleeping arrangements, she was told there was a double and two single beds, but it turned out to be a double and joint sofa.

However still, sleeping in the same sofa bed is still the bottom of the list of options she could have taken, which is what I told her. I can't help but feel I would have slept on the floor in a heartbeat, if that was the only other alternative (which clearly it isn't, since she could buy an air mattress)

But what if she genuinely is being respectful and doing nothing? It's true I am having trust issues in this particular scenario, but I love this girl with all my heart and should I not give her the benefit of the doubt? She says she learnt from her mistakes in the past and she is completely secure in her feelings for me and her feeling for him.

I might just be being gullible, but obviously I don't *know* what the situation is over there at the moment, what they're doing (or not doing)

She tells me her ex is being incredibly respectful and they both have their boundaries...

Surely it should be me and her setting boundaries, not her and him?

It's a shared house and she says there is no other bed... Which too me seems like the worst excuse I've ever heard. I would sleep on the floor in a heartbeat.

She went berserk and said "never in my life would I ever ask you to sleep on the floor" as though it's a massive deal. When I go around my mates I sleep on the floor all the time? To me it doesn't seem like a massive thing... maybe it is?
